Fredrik Backman- Blog As a New Form of Literature

I don't know how to appropriately start this story, so let's go from the basics. First let's see who is this guy, Fredrik Backman.

I don't judge the book by it's cover, but I judge the writer by the book. Therefore first I read the book and if I like it, I must know who the writer is. Since obviously we became best friends while I was reading, and falling in love with his book.

Now let's meet Fredrik. He was born in 1981 and he grew up in a town Helsingborg, in the south of Sweden. While living there he was writing for two magazines, and as we all would expect he first became columnist, then a blogger and then a writer.

Fredrick's blog was really important for his career, therefore I called this piece "Blog As a New Form of Literature". Writing blog posts became really popular not only among the writers, but also among regular people who love writing. It is a new way of expressing your thoughts in a short form and the best thing about it is that you can get the response from audience immediately.

While writing his blog, Fredrick got idea for his first book. The publishers like to say that the book started from the blog, but the writer just got the idea for the book from the blog. He was writing some short stories, with elements and characteristics that will became part of Ove's personality.

Why we all love Ove?

He is someone really close to all of us, either we know someone like him or we are just a little bit like him.

I read the book and I really loved it, but I was honestly really happy when I saw a movie. Most of the times I am suspicious when it comes to movies by books, but this time it was totally different.

Right now I won't retell you the story about Ove, since you must read it of course, and my "co-blogger" will tell you more about the movie, soon enough.
