One of the things Cakana and I like to do, every time we see each other, is to take long loong walks. And during our little marathons, we talk about anything and everything. Usually one of us reads a certain book, and recommends it to the other. And the last time one of those books was "En man som heter Ove" by Fredrik Backman.

In our last post, my "co-blogger" told you a few things about the writer and his process while writing it. And now my wish is to say a few things about a movie carrying the same title.

We all have an Ove in our lives. Whether in our family, a next door neighbor, or just a day to day persons we encounter. Grumpy old man who is mad at the world, but as you get to know him you see that he has a big heart.

As you watch it you will feel what Ove is feeling, you can't help but understand him and have compassion for him. Movie will make you feel all range of emotions, but mostly it will make you laugh at his day to day encounters which slowly change our unusual hero, and brake all of his walls.

Rolf Lassgard portrays Ove with such precision, while still making him lovable, and the rest of the cast does a pretty darn good job.

This movie premiered in Sweden back in 2015., while 2016. brings lots of nominations at award shows, which 2017. concludes with a Academy award nomination for best Foreign film.

We recommend you this movie with all our hearts, but what we recommend you even more is to read the book first. You will enjoy it all, and it will fill you up with all of the best emotions.
